Up third in our series of Opposition Dossiers we look at our Round 1 Opponent, Hawthorn.
For all the talk of improvement in 2023, the Hawks went from 8 wins in 2022 and a percentage of 89%, to 7 wins in 2023 and a percentage of 80%.
It was a bit of a season of two halves though. They went 1-8 through the first 9 Rounds, and then went 6-9 on the run home. This included wins against finalists in St Kilda, Brisbane (at the MCG) and Collingwood.
